One Cartridge, not a box: 7mm -08 Remington by Federal Cartridge Company with new Federal brass cases with “F C 7mm-08 REM” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 150 grain Sierra Pro-hunter JSP (Jacketed Soft Point) projectile.
History of the .7mm-08 cartridge:The 7mm-08 Remington was standardized by Remington and introduced in 1980, after being a wildcat cartridge for since the 1950s by necking down the .308 Winchester (7.62 NATO) cartridge to except 7mm projectiles. The cartridge was introduced to provide great 7mm performance in a short action bolt-action rifle with velocities up to 3,000 feet per second and energy up to 2,543 foot pound per squire inch.
