One Cartridge, not a box: 45 Automatic, a.k.a .45 Auto, and .45 ACP, “High Velocity” “SUPER VEL” label produced by the now obsolete H&H Cartridge Company of Greensburg, Indiana, USA (not the H&H, or Holand & Holand of England) produced using new “Nickel Plated” brass cases with “ . SUPER VEL .45 AUTO” Head Stamp (seem to be Larger Print) , with 230 grain JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point) projectile, and Nickel , older”OVAL”primer. (Newer version “+P”available see #007, older version Small print, flat primer see no. 6)

History of the 45 Automatic Cartridge:
The 45 Automatic, a.k.a .45 Auto, and .45 ACP, invented by John Browning and introduced in 1911 for the Colt /Browning Model 1911 Semi-Auto pistol.
This is a great caliber, and has stood the test of time and is still one of the most poplar calibers today after over 100 years, as well as the 1911 pistol now made by 100s of manufacturers.
