History of the .416 Rigby Cartridge:
This massive proprietary cartridge was introduced in 1911 by John Rigby of London, England for his Mauser bolt-action rifles. .
The cartridge and rifles were for African Game and Kynoch of England was the first manufacturer of the cartridge.
This cartridge has long stood the test of time as being a great magazine rifle big dangerous game cartridge and it is powerful enough to take care of anything on the planet.
