One Cartridge, not a Box! : .40-60 Winchester, a.k.a. 40-60WCF by Remington, older production using (then) new Remington- UMC brass cases with “REM-UMC 40-60 ” Head-Stamp and loaded with a Lead projectile. Due to age, some may have minor spots, can be cleaned if need. Sold as a collectible, may not fire due to age.

History of 40-60 Winchester cartridge: The 40-60 Winchester, a.k.a. 40-60 WCF for Winchester Center-fire was introduced in 1876 for the Model 1876 Lever- Action Winchester Rifle. The Rifle was an upgraded, heavier version of the Model 1873 Lever-Action Rifle.This cartridge is about a 1/4″ shorter then the 40-60 Marlin. Obsolete since 1934.
