History of the 380 AUTO Cartridge:
The 380 Auto, also called 9×17 Kurz, 9mm Browning Court, and a/k/a 9mm Kurz or 380ACP was designed by John Browning and introduced in 1912 as the 9mm Browning Short for the Colt pocket pistol line.
It is still a very popular caliber today and chambered in many pocket size pistols.
This caliber was also adopted by many counties for military use.
