One Cartridge not a Box, the box and Pistol is for reference only. (The pistol has a rotary internal magazine.)
One Cartridge not a Box: .32 Protector by Winchester some time before 1920s, “W.R.A. PROTECTOR” Head-Stamp, lead projectile.
History of .32 Protector Cartridge:
The .32 Protector (AKA: Protector Small Pistol) is a Center Fire cartridge with a Bullet (exposed part of Bullet) diameter was 0.2.95” case length of 0.3695 in”and an overall length of 0.565″ by my calipers in 2023.
The Protector originated in France in 1882 as an 8mm (7.92mm) and was primarily used in Pocket or Palm Pistols.
Basically the .32 Protector is a Center-Fire .32 Extra Short (similar to the Rim-fire .32 Extra Short version only Center-fire) introduce by Winchester in 1883 and later manufactured for a short period by Remington for the Protector Palm Pistol, in the late 1800s as a pocket carry cartridge, with production ending around 1917.
