History of the .303 British Cartridge:
The .303 British is probably the most successful cartridge of all time.It was introduced in 1887 as a black-powder cartridge, later in 1892 changed to the cordite smokeless powder and still later to non-corrosive smokeless power which proved it to be a great smokeless powder It was used in World War II , and was re-placed by the 7.62x51mm NATO (.308) in 1957. It has been used all over the world in many battles and has earned its place in history as one of the worlds most used military cartridges
