One Cartridge, not a box: .300ACC Blackout, factory loaded by Remington Arms Company LLC using new *Barnes brass cases with “BARNES 300 BLK” Head-Stamp, loaded with 120 gr OTFB or JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point) projectile and 2 crimped primer.* Barnes and Remington Arms company LLC are or were owned by the same holding company.
History of the .300 AAC Blackout Cartridge:
The .300 AAC* Blackout cartridge was introduced in 2011 after SAAMI approval and was developed by the Advanced Armament Corporation (*AAC) system to launch .30 caliber projectiles from the AR platform without a reduction in magazine capacity and compatible with the standard bolt.
The .300 AAC Blackout has become very popular as a sub-sonic AR caliber with good knock down power at sub-sonic speeds. 220 grain projectiles moving at 1036 feet per second producing over 500 foot pound of energy per inch.
