It was a rimless, straight wall tapered, or steeply conical case, with some produced with no or a very slight rim and no extractor groove at all. The cartridge was manufactured by DWM (Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabrikenuntil) around 1934 , making this caliber obsolete for about 82 years at this writing.
