One Cartridge, not a box: .500 Wyoming Express by Grizzly loaded using new brass Jamison cases with “500 JAMISON WYO. EXPRESS ” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 440 grain Leadprojectile.
History of the .500 Wyoming Cartridge: The 500 Wyoming Express or a.k.a. 500WE is a proprietary cartridge designed by Freedom Arms for their Model 83 Revolver and introduced in 2005.
It has a very unusual belted case to provide reliable head spacing in the Freedom Arms revolver.
The cartridge was designed for predictable ballistic performance and to minimize cone erosion to extend the life of the revolver.
